Tea entered the welding sector in 2025 by acquiring the Ergus brand and the design and manufacturing activities of inverter welding and plasma cutting machines.

Ergus machines have been on the market since 1993 and have earned a reputation for quality and reliability in a variety of industrial applications. The range of welding machines is designed for all welding processes—MMA, TIG DC, TIG AC/DC, MIG/MAG—and the plasma cutting machines can cut all conductive materials.
Ergus machines are designed and assembled in Italy; the highly flexible operational structure is able to offer customized solutions based on the customer’s technical needs, solutions for welding applications in mechanized systems, and OEM production.
